Currently, I am working as an educator in the Center for Semiconductor Technologies (SemiX) at IIT Bombay. Before that, I was working in the Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science at IIT Bombay. During this time, I was working on several industrial R&D projects and was interacting with industries. I was awarded a Research Associate (Funded by CSIR) in 2019. During that time, I was working in the Chemical Engineering Department at IIT Kanpur . I am a former senior project engineer at IIT Kanpur and Post-doctoral Associate at the Chemical & Petroleum Engineering Department, University of Pittsburgh . I did my PhD from the Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) in 2016. My research interest lies in (a) the processing of polymer composites and blends and in various analytical techniques to characterize their behavior, (b) viscoelastic behavior of polymer melts; (c) crystallization process of polymers, and (d) damage and fracture analysis of polymers.
I am also interested in polymer physics, paints and hybrid nanostructured materials which can be used in energy storage devices. For more details of my research please visit the publications page.
